Price was reminded that he wasn't a member of either Woodchuck/Prairiedog roster in their title years, but that only prompted more, albeit silent, finger jabbing. "Shut up, nerd," Price eventually retorted and ended the interview.
West Virginia, the preseason favorite to win it all, showed a glimmer of why it garnered such praise, holding early MVP candidate Donovan McNabb to his worst numbers of the season, while Michael Vick responded to a veiled threat of benching with three touchdowns. "That'll buy me another two or three weeks of stinking up the joint before I have to actually put forth an effort again," a smug Vick nodded smugly.
