Game NotesTerry Allen and Kordell Stewart both had their best games since coming over from Sin City in the Eddie George trade.
Peerless Price, signed only a day before the game, was the top receiver in the game. Price had previously been on the Woodchucks roster, but never played.
Duce Staley's return to the Woodchucks was uneventful as neither he nor rookie Deisel Collins were able to get into the flow of the game. Expect these two to work together in practice to build a chemistry.

Game NotesPeyton Manning's Lager debut was impressive enough, but could have been better if his receivers hadn't let him down. Moss, Reed, and McDuffie combined for only eight passes, one more than the running backs and tight end.
Darnay Scott almost didn't play, but at game time the decision was made to put him on the field. Good thing too since Scott's touchdown in the final minutes proved to be the deciding factor in the game.
Natrone Means twisted his left knee. He will have athroscopic surgery to remove loose cartiledge and should miss the next 2-4 weeks.

Game NotesJon Kitna exacted revenge against the team that traded him, throwing for 276 yards and two TDs. Frank Sanders and Eddie George, the key players Sin City received after another trade with Mayberry, didn't play.
Seldom used running back Richard Huntley got may have only gotten three yards on the ground, but his early touchdown set the tone for the game, showing the Grifters they could take no one lightly.
Both Corey Dillon and Patrick Jeffers were injured. Dillon is expected to be able to play next week, but Jeffers is questionable.
