"The lines at the concession stands here are ridiculous," shouted Mounties fan Joey Shabadoo Jr. "I went to buy some nachos during the national anthem and by the time I got to my seat, we were down 21-0." Shabadoo estimated it took four to five minutes to make his purchase.

Holmes wasn't the only high scorer for Athens. Donovan McNabb also accounted for four touchdowns. "I don't want to make any guarantees, because I don't do that kind of thing," McNabb announced, "but I guarantee we're winning the Bucco Bruce Bowl. I mean, not 'guarantee' but, you know, guarantee."

Moose River took the loss in stride. In fact, there are reports the team will begin printing playoff tickets Monday. "Do I look like I'm sweating?" asked owner Trent Lindstrom. "I mean a loss is never good, but we're still in first place and it's not like Beaver State and West Coast are doing anything to convince us we don't have a postseason appearance in the future."
